1.     What information does Bru Med Travel require to make my reservation in one of their exclusive tours?
We require your name as it appears on your passport, address, best contact telephone number and email, date of birth, passport number, expiration date, date of issue, issuing authority and your $350 non-refundable, per person deposit.
2.     Are deposits paid to be part of your exclusive tour refundable if the client cancels with advanced notice?
No, the deposit paid for our groups is non-refundable.
3.     When is final payment due for a group departure?
Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. 
4.     Does Bru Med Travel recommend vacation protection insurance?
We strongly recommend the purchase of vacation protection insurance.  Did you know that the health insurances that protect us in the United States are not valid abroad? If you get injured abroad and don’t have vacation protection, you will need to pay everything out of pocket, which can be ridiculously expensive.  The cost of trip insurance is only 7% of the total cost of your trip and it protects you from the moment is purchased until you return from your trip.  This is a great way to protect your investment in case anything happens that prevents you from traveling or during your trip! 
5.     What company do you recommend for vacation protection insurance? 
We strongly recommend Travel Guard.  They offer great coverage at a very affordable price.  As a benefit to our clients, Bru Med Travel is certified and authorized to sell Travel Guard.  It is available at 7% of your total cost of the trip. 
6.      How much time in advance do I have to make a reservation to go on one of your exclusive tours?
We recommend you make your reservation as soon as you decide on going.  Our tours are filled on a first come, first served basis and it is capacity controlled, so reserve away before it gets full. 
7.     What is included in your exclusive tours?
Typically all of our tours include: airfare, 4*+ hotels, arrival and departure transfers, daily buffet breakfast, a lunch or dinner daily, all entrance fees as per itinerary, luxury motorcoach, expert local guides, tips for 1 luggage per person and the support and knowledge of a Bru Med Travel team member every step of the way. 
8.     What is NOT included in the exclusive tours?
Incidentals such as telephone calls, laundry, dry cleaning, taxi service, mini bar, photos, alcoholic beverages, personal expenses, etc., are not included. Ask one of our experts if you still have any doubt. 

9.     How many pieces of luggage can I take with me on one of the exclusive tour guided by Bru Med?
Due to space limitations in the motorcoaches, only one (1) piece of luggage that is 50lbs or less and one (1) carry on piece of luggage that is 20lbs or less will be allowed.  This will allow for everyone’s luggage to fit adequately in the cargo area of the motorcoach. 

10.   Should we exchange money in the U.S. or abroad? 
We recommend that you exchange currency in the U.S. prior to departure.  Exchange houses abroad charge higher exchange rates/fees to change the currency. 

11.   What clothes should I take to wear during the tour?
Casual and comfortable clothes/shoes are recommended.  Always take a cardigan in case you need to cover your shoulders to be able to enter a religious site.  It also comes in handy in case it gets chilly in the early morning hours or at night.
12.   What type of shoes should I take for the tour? 
Please pack your most comfortable pair of shoes as we do a lot of walking during our tours.  Also keep in mind that the streets in Europe can be made of stone or be rocky, therefore we do not recommend shoes with heels or shoes that have a slippery sole. 
13.   How are seats assigned on the motorcoaches for the groups? 
Seats are assigned on a rotation basis so that everyone gets the chance to sit where they please. 

14.   How are seats assigned on the plane for the groups?
To be able to offer our clients the best rates possible, Bru Med Travel reserves group space.  The airline is the one that reserves the right to block the seats at its discretion and does not allow Bru Med Travel to reserve specific seats.  Your seat is assigned at the airport upon check-in for the flight. 
15.   What hotel category does Bru Med Travel use for their groups.  
We use properties that offer a 4.0 stars/4.5 stars category.  Please be advised that there are certain towns in certain countries where you can only find properties that are 3.0 stars in category.  In this case, we take certain precautions to make sure the property offers as many commodities as possible in order to make it acceptable for our clients.
